We are pleased to welcome Chris Dore as the new Chief Operating Officer at Methodist Independent Schools Trust (MIST).

Chris joins MIST at a pivotal time for the independent education sector, bringing with him extensive experience in operational leadership and strategic planning from both public sector (Government, Education) and private sectors.  His appointment reflects MIST’s commitment to strengthening its support for schools and evolving to meet the challenges and opportunities of a changing educational landscape. He will play a key role in shaping and delivering MIST’s evolving strategy, ensuring that our Trust is well-equipped to thrive, innovate, and serve with purpose.

Chris’ vision is to enhance collaboration, streamline operations, and deliver greater value to schools, enabling them to focus on what matters most: providing outstanding, inclusive, and holistic education rooted in the Methodist values.
